Who We Are

Problem Statement

Approximately only 32 percent of all bullying incidents are reported by students. Due to the lack of resources on school campuses, bullied students are more likely to take matters into their own hands. such as taking weapons to school, getting involved in physical fights, suffering from anxiety and depression, physical and mental health problems and suicide. They also suffer academically (especially high-achieving African American and Latino students). And research suggests that schools where students report a more severe bullying climate score worse on standardized assessments than schools with a better climate.

Mission Statement

Student BPS will increase the on-site presence of adults to make school campuses safer.

Value Statement
